Dental Insurance
Dedicated to Saving You Money
Protecting your smile shouldn’t have to cost an outrageous amount of money. If you have dental insurance through your employer or on your own, this excellent resource gives you the opportunity to get the services you need to keep your teeth and gums healthy for many years to come. At Studio Dental, we are proud to accept dental insurance and help McKinney families save on their care. If you have questions about dental insurance, our knowledgeable team would be happy to help!
Understanding How Dental Insurance Works
Your medical and dental insurances are separate for a reason. Although they both do provide some benefits for treating problems, dental insurance is clearly more focused than medical insurance on preventing them in the first place. By keeping up with your preventive dental care, you can avoid more damaging, more (physically and financially) painful issues in the future. When you come in for your appointments, we will happily file claims with your insurance so you end up saving money.
What Your Dental Insurance Plan Covers
Each dental insurance plan is different, but in general, coverage tends to include the following benefits:
- 100 percent coverage of preventive care (e.g., checkups and cleanings, fluoride treatment).
- 70 to 80 percent coverage of minor restorative care (e.g., tooth-colored fillings).
- 50 percent coverage of major restorative care (e.g., dental crowns).
To find out more details about your specific benefits, you can contact our team at Studio Dental. We will be happy to explain your coverage and give you tips that can help you save even more!
We Offer In-Network Savings & Welcome Out-of-Network Providers
Dental insurance terms can be confusing. Being “in-network” means that we’ve already agreed to rates for certain services, which enables the insurance company to pass some savings on to you. We are proudly in-network with these insurance companies:
- Delta Dental
- Guardian
- Aetna
- Cigna
- BlueCross BlueShield (BC/BS)
- MetLife
- United Concordia
- Connection Dental
- Humana
- United Healthcare
- Assurant
- Dentamax
Even if we are out-of-network for your dental insurance, we are still happy to file claims with your company for you to help you save money on your dental care. Contact us if you have questions about your insurance or your coverage, and our helpful team will address your concerns.
